- Enter your postcode, and select the cooks whose availability you'd like to check. Once you've been connected to them, you can book them as often as you'd like. Simply notify them of your meal requests via the Cheffo website or our mobile app.
- The cooks on Cheffo are independent freelancers with a wide variety of culinary backgrounds - you'll find personal chefs, private chefs, and restaurant chefs as well as home cooks among them. They can be booked on a regular repeat basis to handle your cooking each week or for one-off occasions.
- The cooks we help you find via Cheffo.org have been subject to Cheffo's vetting process. This means that they have:
- Their application to join Cheffo has been individually reviewed by our team
- They have verified their identity
- They have provided references
- Cheffo operates a pay as you go system, where you pay the cooks you work with as and when you need them. Cheffo enables cooks to set their own payment terms. Some may ask for payment upfront, while others might prefer to be paid after they've provided their service. We recommend that you discuss and agree on the payment details with your cook during the process of your first booking.
- Absolutely. On the platform you can manage your bookings, view upcoming appointments, reschedule, cancel, and communicate with your cook as needed.
- Across the Cheffo community of cooks you'll find a vast and diverse range of cuisines offered. When you start a new booking you'll be able to view these on the meal selection page - you're bound to find the perfect match for your tastes.
- Not at all! We've made it budget friendly to hire a cook as a personal chef or home cook. The prices you can expect to see from cooks who use Cheffo start at £15 per week, and there are cooks to suit all budgets.
- They can cook as much or as little as you prefer, tailored to your needs.
- It's entirely up to you! If you prefer consistency, you can opt for the same cook each week.
- Absolutely. Share your preferred grocery stores and brands, and they can adjust your meals accordingly.
